MNA - Sepahan of Isfahan
football club has fired their coach Engin Firat following disappointing
results in the Iran Professional League (IPL).
Last season’s runner-up of IPL suffered two heavy losses to Peykan and
Persepolis over the past two weeks.
Majid Basirat and Hossein Charkhabi have been appointed as Sepahan’s interim
coaches.
Rumor has it that Hamid Estili, the former Persepolis coach, is the most
probable candidate to replace the German coach.
Sepahan is placed 10th in IPL standing with 14 points.
