PTV - The head coach of the
Iranian national futsal team, Hossein Shams, has underlined that Iran will
come as a surprise to Brazil.
"Iran will come as a surprise to Brazil as it did against Spain," Shams said
before his men meet host Brazil at 5:00 pm local time on Saturday.
The coach predicted that the Iranian squad will not lose to Brazil, because
the best players and the best possible strategy will be adopted.
"Iran will try its best to reach the final," Shams explained.
Iran booked its spot in the quarterfinals of the 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup
following a 3-2 victory over the Czech Republic on Thursday.
Earlier, the Asian champion held two-time world champion Spain to a 3-3 draw
in its first match, defeated African champion Libya 4-2 and beat Uruguay
4-2.
Brazil, a three-time world champion, maintains an unbeaten record in the
tournament after they thrashed Japan 12-1, trounced Solomon Islands 21-0 and
routed Cuba 9-0.
