PTV - Iran is scheduled to
meet Singapore in its third match of Group A in the Asian Football
Confederation under-16 Championship in Uzbekistan.
The Iranian squad, which has already stormed into the quarterfinals, is
scheduled to clash with Singapore at Pakhtakor Stadium on Wednesday in the
Uzbekistan capital, Tashkent.
The Iranian outfit topped Bahrain 2-0 in its opening game and snatched a 2-1
victory over host Uzbekistan in its second encounter.
In other matches on Wednesday, Bahrain will meet Uzbekistan, South Korea
will face Syria and India is to compete with Indonesia.
Iran is in Group A of the tournament, competing with Singapore, Bahrain and
host Uzbekistan.
A total of 16 teams are taking part in the Asian Football Confederation U-16
Championships from 4-18 October.
