MNA - Iran coach Ali Daei has
summoned veteran Mehdi Mahdavikia to the national team after a long spell on
Tuesday.
Iran is scheduled to face North Korea in the 2010 World Cup qualifications
on October 15 at the Azadi Stadium.
Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder has been out of the Iran national team for 15
months. Mahdavikia will participate in Iran's training from Saturday.
Iran is in Group B along with S. Korea, N. Korea, Saudi Arabia and the
United Arab Emirates.
The team battled to a 1-1 draw in its opener against Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.
