AFC – Vision Iran, Project
Qazvin leaders have taken the initiative to include five major city football
associations from the province in AFC development plans.
Qazvin province comprises five city associations – Qazvin City, Alvand,
Buyin Zahra, Abyek and Takestan.
During a recent Project Qazvin seminar, officials agreed to ensure that
major football facilities in each city were adequately equipped. They also
decided to evaluate the progress of Vision Asia ideals in each city on a
monthly basis.
Qazvin is one of four provinces that are part of Vision Iran, which itself
comes under the AFC’s Vision Asia umbrella.
In line with AFC requirements, the Qazvin Football Assocation staged
elections recently, with Mohammed Sadeghpour Mehdi winning the post of
president. Hosein Behzadpour is vice president while Reza Motalebi was
elected general secretary.
Project Qazvin officials are now awaiting AFC’s initial development plan,
which is expected to be submitted in early October.
