Al Nasr Club will be relying heaving on three
talented Iranian players to put them in a position to challenge for the
League title.
Mohammad Nosrati, Reza Enayati and Mehrzad Madanchi will don the famous blue
and white jersey's of Dubai's oldest soccer club as the UAE Professional
Football League makes it debut this season, starting on September 19.
All eyes will be on this trio when Al Nasr play their first league match at
home against city rivals Al Ahli. They will be looking for revenge having
suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat to Al Ahli in the league's second round at
home last season.
Nosrati, a former Persepolis defender signed a one year contract with the
Emirati football club last month. He is being seen as a key player for the
season.
The 26-year-old participated in the Al Nasr training camp in Slovakia.
Nosrati has been capped 56 times for his country and also was a mainstay of
the team in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
Enayati is also a former member of the Iran national football team. He is a
talented striker position.
Former coach of Sepahan of Isfahan, Luka Bunacic, is heading the team in the
upcoming season.
Reza Enayati started out his professional career playing for his hometown
club F.C. Aboomoslem.
He had a number of impressive seasons there, especially the 2001-02 season
where he finished as the league's top goalscorer and was called up to the
national team. He remained in F.C. Aboomoslem for the 2002-03 season but the
year after and after being linked with a move to Persepolis F.C.
