PTV - Ali Karimi has had his
first training session with Iranian popular outfit Persepolis after signing
a loan transfer deal with the club.
About 50 reporters were present at the Persepolis training camp on Saturday.
Karimi was welcomed by hundreds of fans. He officially signed a one-year
loan contract with Persepolis hours before appearing in the training camp.
Karimi, who also played for Persepolis between 1998 and 2001, joined Qatar's
al-Sailiyah in June 2008.
Persepolis coach Afshin Qotbi said Karimi's transfer would help the club win
the Asian Champions League title as well as the Iranian Premier League title
this year.
