Esteghlal, Sepahan in stalemate

MNA - Tehran-based Esteghlal drew 1-1 with Sepahan of Isfahan at home in the 3rd week of Iran Pro League (IPL) on Sunday.
Mehdi Ja’farpour put the visitors ahead in the 24th minute in front of about 30,000 spectators.

Esteghlal made full efforts to change the result and eventually evened the match when defender Piruz Ghorbani opened Sepahan’s net in the 74th minute.

Referee Mohsen Torki ruled out Sepahan striker Emad Reza’s late goal due to offside.
