Ghotbi: "Victory like vitamins"

MNA - The Persepolis football coach praised Monday’s victory over Saipa and compared it to vitamins.
“Persepolis won an important match because we were defending last season’s championship against Saipa,” Afshin Ghotbi said.

“Our team was well-organized and earned more chances while Saipa had no real opportunity in the match,” he added.

Persepolis was nicknamed the lion-hearted last season. Ghotbi said, “It really doesn’t matter what the others call us. We only play our hearts out.”

Persepolis defeated Saipa 1-0 in the opening game of the 8th Iran Premier League (IPL) season.
