PFDC - Iranian defender Rehman
Rezaei, formerly of Livorno and Messina, has signed a one year contract with
UAE's Al-Dhafra.
Rezaei who played seven seasons in Italy, notably in Perugia, Messina and
Livorno, reached an agreement with Al-Dhafra officials to join the club for
one season.
After leaving Italian football, there were rumors strongly linking him to
Esteghlal and Persepolis, however he put and end to all speculations by
inking a contract with Al-Dhafra.
The 33-year-old will play along Iranian compatriot Rasoul Khatibi who has
also joined Al-Dhafra after his contract with Al Emarat ended.
