Reuters - Bolton Wanderers'
manager Gary Megson has released the out-of-contract midfield trio of
Stelios Giannakopoulos, Ivan Campo and Andranik Teymourian.
"Ivan, Stelios and Andranik have all done well for Bolton and I'd like to
express my gratitude to them. It's time for them to move on and I wish them
all the best," Megson told the club Web site (www.bwfc.co.uk).
Former Real Madrid and Spain international, Campo, joined the Premier League
club in 2003, the same year as Greek European Championship winner Stelios,
while Iranian international Teymourian joined after the 2006 World Cup.
Soccer - Some 400 policemen, two divisions of riot police, and one a state
security squadron were spread in and around Sochaux's Auguste-Bonal stadium
ahead of Saturday's Ligue 1 clash between Sochaux and Paris St Germain.
"I have never seen this in 20 years," said Sochaux security director Pierre
Schlatter. Paris St Germain could be relegated to Ligue 2 if they lose.
