Iranian soccer players shine in UAE

PTV - Iranian soccer players in the UAE have managed to save their teams by scoring five goals in the 21st week of the UAE football league.

The Emirates made a 2-2 draw with Al Sharjah when Rasoul Khatibi scored both goals for his team on Friday.

Iranian striker Ali Samerreh scored two goals to help Al Shaab defeat the declining Hatta 2-1 at Khaled bin Mohammed Stadium on the same day.

Meanwhile, Al Ahli earned a valuable 5-1 victory over Al Nasr at Al Maktoum Stadium on Friday. Iranian forward Milad Meydavoudi scored the first goal of his team against Al Nasr in the 20th minute of the match.

Al Shabab and Al Jazira are scheduled to hold the UAE league final on Wednesday.
