MNA - Persepolis coach Afshin
Ghotbi slammed his team performance after a draw against Bargh of Shiraz at
the Azadi Stadium on Sunday.
“ Persepolis got so nervous in the match. My boys were disheveled and lost
many good chances. Persepolis suffered from a lack of concentration that
eventually cost them two vital points,” Afshin Ghotbi told a televised news
conference.
He added, “ Persepolis was a lion-hearted team in the previous matches, but
we looked cat-hearted against Bargh. The team was not well-organized in the
second half and failed to defeat its rival.”
Persepolis will stay hopeful of securing championship in Iran’s Professional
League(IPL), Ghotbi said.
The reds will play Saba Battery and Sepahan in their two remaining matches
in Tehran.
