GOAL- According to reports in
Iran, the Iranian Football Federation (IFF) is considering a 10 day training
camp in the US in June.
According to Mehdi Taj, the deputy-in-chief of the Iran Football Federation
(IFF), an official invitation was received from the US on Saturday.
The IFF has passed the invitation to the National Team’s Committee, and the
head coach of Iran, Ali Daei who will make the decision.
Additionally, a final approval is needed by Iran’s Physical Education
Organisation.
"If touring the US is approved by the National Teams Committee and Ali Daei,
and the International Council of Physical Training Organisation accordingly,
the tour will take place from June 23 to July 3 this year” Mehdi Taj said
according to Iransportspress.com.
Iran will play four World Cup qualifiers in June, the last of which against
Kuwait in the Azadi Stadium on June 22.
