executives have said that the Red-Men's Cameroonian midfielder, Jacques
Elong Elong, has undergone surgery.
Elong, Cameroon's national team fielder went under the knife after he was
told to stay on the margin up to the end of the season for his ligament
injury.
Doctors said Elong could resume practice after a six-month hiatus.
Elong confirmed he would remain in the favorite Persepolis line-up, if he
extends his contract.
Persepolis managing director Habib Kashani said Elong's contract would
expire at the end of the season.
