PTV - Ali Daei, Iran's head
coach and holder of the world record for international goals, has said his
memoirs will be published by 2010.
“I think the book will be released by the end of next year (March 2010),"
the former Asian Player of the Year said.
Daei, who is also coaching Tehran team Saipa, said that while the book would
relate many of his bitter and sweet memories he would keep some of his
secrets in his heart forever.
He went on to assure fans that Saipa would defeat Iraq's Al Quwa Al Jawiya
in Group B of the AFC Champions League in Wednesday's match.
The 39-year-old Daei, who is Iran's all-time leading scorer with 109 goals
in 148 appearances, kissed professional soccer goodbye in 2007.
