Esteqlal footballers to fly to Emirates

PTV– Tehran's popular football team is slated to travel to the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday to hold a training camp for twelve days.

The Esteqlal football team, popularly known as 'The Blues', will camp in the Iranian club in Dubai during the half-season break in the country's premier league.

The team is scheduled to play several preparatory matches, particularly with al-Vasl of Dubai in its exclusive stadium on 31 December.

Esteqlal managed to defeat Zob Ahan of Isfahan 5-2 on Friday to qualify for the quarter-final in the Iranian Hazfi Cup.
