MNA – The Shiraz-based Barq defeated holder SAIPA 1-0 in the 11th week of the 7th Iran Pro League in Enqelab Stadium of Karaj, 35km west of Tehran, Sunday.

Mohammad-Nasser Shokrun scored the sole goal of the game two minutes into the second half.

The narrow victory helped the visitor jump to the fourth place of the 18-strong table on 17 points and SAIPA remained in the 10th spot with 13 points.
