Best of the Best Foreign Players against Sepahan, First Time

PLDC - The 24th of October became memorable and notable in the history of Iranian football when the sole IRI representative in the 2007 Asian Cup, Sepahan, successfully ended the return game of the semifinal stage against Al Wahdah of the UAE, the hosts, in a goalless draw, preventing them from entering the finals stage and placing itself against Japan.

Japan is the host for the World Club Cup in November and Urawa Reds of Japan will be present and playing in the event against Foolad Mobarakeh of Sepahan. The IRI team will become known as one of the top seven teams in the world if they manage to become second in this event. The team will also be the first outside the capital team in Iran to have reached the AC.

In this regard and according to the announcement made by FIFA, Sepahan will go up against Pachuca of Mexico, Waitakere United of New Zealand, Boca Juniors of Argentina, AC Milan of Italy, Urawa Reds of Japan and the champions of the African continent in intensive matches.

The Cup will begin on 7th of December.
