IRNA - German Bundesliga club Borussia
Moenchengladbach which has already been relegated into the second division
with three games left before the end of the season, is interested in signing
Hanover's Iranian forward Vahid Hashemian, the sports portal sport 1
reported Monday.
Hashemian has had a below average with Hanover this season, having scored
just four goals and provided six assists in 31 Bundesliga matches.
The Iranian international whose earlier Bundesliga engagements included
Bayern Munich, VfL Bochum and Hamburger SV, signed a three- year deal with
the north German team in 2005.
Hashemian is among less than a handful of Iranian players in the first
German division.
