PLDC - There were speculations during
the last few months that Ali Karimi will be leaving Bayern for possibly
a club from the Persian Gulf region. The speculations almost became
reality when Bayern's camp in Dubai was about to end and there were
strong rumors that Ali will not travel back to Munich with the German
champions and will stay in Dubai and play for his former club, Al-Ahli.
However, now and only a few days to the restart of the German
Bundesliga, Ali Karimi is not only staying with the Bavarian giants, he
is a candidate to start against Burssia Dortmund this Saturday. Ali told
reporters that his heart is with Bayern and he will fight to grab a spot
in the starting lineup. Ali also told reporters that he has decided not
to leave Bayern for now because he knows that the Iranian people and his
fans want him to stay in Germany.
Ali scored two goals last week in Bayern's friendlies against a lower
division team and Hamburg, but Ali claims that the fact that he has
recently been scoring for his team is not a reason to believe that he
will get playing time, but rather his fighting spirit and his
performance in the next few games will determine if he will once again
be starting for Bayern Munich.
One thing is for certain and that is the fact that Ali Karimi will not
be leaving Bayern, at least until the end of the season and now with
Diesler retiring and Hasan S. left Bayern, there is certainly more room
for the Asian maradona to fit himself in the star loaded Bayern team.
