IRNA - Ali Karimi has failed to meet Bayern
Munich's expectations just like his other Iranian team-mates Vahid Hashemian
and Ali Daei, the daily die Welt said Saturday.
Karimi's big dreams of making the breakthrough at Bayern have not been
fulfilled some 500 days after signing a contract with the German record
Bundesliga champs, the paper added.
Bayern Munich and Karimi's former United Arab Emirates club Al-Ahli are
reportedly in talks over an imminent transfer.
Prior to his engagement at Bayern, the 28-year-old Iranian international
played for Al-Ahli from 2001 through 2005.
A rarely used Bayern reserve player, Karimi has failed to score a goal in
this Bundesliga season.
