ISNA - Iran's football federation deputy informed that special meetings would be held in order to revise the federation's letter of principles.

"The Iranian football federation is after revising the terms demanded by the FIFA. Up to now one session of the meetings has been held with the presence of the heads of domestic football committees in order to discuss FIFA's call for revising the agendas. On Sunday we will have the second meeting in order to reach some conclusion," stated Reza Eftekhari.

"We intend to revise the terms demanded by the FIFA and propose it to the world federation before the FIFA deadline," he added.

The deadline given by the FIFA is December 12th. Eftekhari asserted that Iran would get through the issue by that time.

He also informed that the FIFA was after sending a delegation of supervisors for Iran's football federation elections.

"We've got no problems with that. In the letter cabled to FIFA we have asked for Peter Velappan or Paul Muni to come over as supervisors. The elections will be held based on the terms proposed by the FIFA," he concluded.
