PFDC - KOBLENZ, 2nd Bundesliga division side
TuS Koblenz have snapped up Fereydoon Zandi on a free transfer.
The Iranian international has signed a one-year contract with the German
club.
Coach Milan Sasic was pleased to bring in some cover for his midfield.
"He brings what I was missing in the last months" Sasic said.
The 27-year-old has been without a club in the last three months. He admited
that he is not at the top of his physical shape at the moment, but he is
determined to work hard to catch up and regain his full fitness.
Koblenz's new signing is expected to start training with his new club next
tuesday.
Zandi, who was part of Iran's squad during the 2006 World Cup, spent the
last two seasons at FC Kaiserslautren, appearing in 55 Bundesliga games ( 6
goals and 8 assists).
