MNA – The capital’s
popular football club Persepolis parted company with strikers Ali
Alizadeh and Sohrab Entezari and midfielder Javad Kazemian Thursday and
Friday.
Alizadeh moved to the old foe of Persepolis, Esteqlal, inking a one-year
contract with the Iran Pro League holder at Tehran’s Football Board
yesterday.
According to the newly appointed Esteqlal manager Samad Marfavi, the
roster of capital’s side is full and the club will hire no more.
Alizadeh is the second player who moved from the Reds to the Blues.
Fullback Ali Ansarian had already joined Esteqlal.
Entezari also registered his contract with Rah Ahan here and national
midfielder Kazemian, despite his willing, joined Al Shaab of the United
Arab Emirates (UAE) here Friday.
Kazemian is scheduled to head for the UAE after Iran’s match with Syria
and South Korea at the AFC Asian Cup 2007.
