MNA – Iran Pro League holder Esteqlal Club
here Friday appointed Samad Marfavi as the new trainer.
Mohammad-Hossein Qarib, the capital-based club managing director, said
Marfavi was picked as he was one of the best Esteqlal players and has
achieved the expertise during his coaching career.
Marfavi was the assistant coach of Amir Qal’e-Noii in the past years.
He is filling Qal’e-Noii’s shoes as the trainer was last Monday installed as
national head coach.
