PLDC - Last night, Mansoor Pourheidari, Head Coach of Esteghlal of Tehran, after the bad luck his team experienced in trying to become IPL Champion resigned leaving Esteghlal in the hands of Amir Ghalenoei. Ali Fathollahzadeh, Chairman of Esteghlal, in a telephone interview expressed, "The other night an uneasy Pourheidari entered my office and gave me a written resignation but I accepted the resignations on the term that he stay on with Esteghlal as its Technical Manager and gave him leave from the club until the end of Hazfi Cup so he can get away from the hectic league and rest for while." He also said, "With the consultation of Pourheidari it has also been decided that Amir Ghalenoei and Ibrahim Talebi will become temporary coaches for Esteghlal until the Hazfi Cup is over in the place of Pourheidari and Mazloomi." Thus, today at 4:00PM, the first practice session following the end of the league took place for the introduction of the new coaches. The Chairman of Esteghlal had stressed that this practice was mandatory. In a televised broadcasting, the Chairman of Esteghlal, Ali Fathollahzadeh, Naser Abdollahi, Team Manager, the new coaches Amir Ghalenoei and Ibrahim Talebi as well as all of Esteghlals players were present.
