FNA - US Galaxy has
proposed an attractive offer to the Iranian national scorer team
offensive Ali Daei to play for the football club in the US Major League
Soccer (MLS).
After Iran's controversial defeat in the World Cup 2006 in Germany, all
the squad returned home except a few, with captain Daei being one of
those who are still in Germany.
Despite poor performance of the Iranian team in the World Cup, many
well-known football clubs have so far extended invitations to the
Iranian footballers, including Ali Daei who is apparently still
attractive to many clubs, even though he is close to retirement age.
Daei is now through with his contract with Iran's Saba Battery and he is
said to have many proposals home from different Iranian football clubs,
including Pas.
The world's number one national scorer has said that he is still
studying offers from different Iranian and foreign clubs.
