IRNA - Printing a memorial
stamp to mark the 2006 FIFA Word Cup in Germany was celebrated in a
ceremony at Azadi Stadium on Wednesday during the warm-up football game
between Iran and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
According to the Public Relations Department of Iranian Post Company, at
the ceremony, a symbolic envelope with the memorial stamp was sealed by
respective officials.
The ceremony was attended by a number of officials from the Ministry of
Communications and Information Technology, Post Company, Physical
Education Organization and National Football Federation.
The memorial stamp was issued to mark Iran's participation in the 2006
FIFA World Cup in Germany.
The memorial stamp features Iran's flag in the background, FIFA's Gold
Cup and Emblem for this year's competitions.
The circulation of the memorial stamp is 450,000 series and costs 650
rials each.
