AFC - Iran have succeeded in lining up two
more friendlies in order to prepare for this summer’s World Cup.
According to sources, Iran will play fellow finalists Croatia in a friendly
on May 28 in Zagreb and go up against Bosnia three days later in Tehran.
Iran are slotted in Group D with Mexico, Angola and Portugal and they open
their campaign on June 11 in Nuremberg against Mexico. Croatia are in Group
F alongside Brazil, Australia and Japan.
