ISNA - Costa Rica's Football Federation chief, Hermas Navaro has a great tendency for holding a friendly match with Iran's national football team, and it is an opportunity for his team to be ready before 2006 World Cup.

"We are happy to play with Iran's team in Tehran. It is a build up match for our team to reach readiness before attending in the world cup games, and also playing with an unfamiliar team will be exciting for us," he said.

"Playing with such team will make our player to be familiar with unpredictable conditions of World Cup. Much learn about the arrangement of our team, much better to cover the problems. Usually, out of our region, we will not face to these wonders," he continued.
