IRNA - The newly appointed Dutch trainer of
Persepolis, Arie Haan, arrived here Thursday.
The veteran manager was warmly welcomed by Persepolis officials in Imam
Khomeini International Airport (IKIA), 40 km south of the capital.
Haan headed for Laleh Hotel in central Tehran to hold a short talk with
players before fielding his new side against the visitor Barq in the 23rd
week of the fifth Iran Pro League in Azadi Stadium later in the day.
Popular team Persepolis has had a lackluster performance in the league,
standing ninth on 28 points.
