Angola will play a friendly against German second division club SV Wacker
Burghausen as part of its preparations for the global football event in
Germany, scheduled to be held from June 9 through July 9.
Wacker Burghausen manager Kurt Gaugler managed to agree on a friendly match
deal with the southwest African team during its three-week training camp,
the club's official homepage announced Monday.
World Cup debutant Angola will prepare from May 9 through 29 at the Ruit
sport school, located near the south German city of Stuttgart for their
first-ever presence at the World Cup.
The World Cup base of Angola's football team will be the northeast German
town of Celle.
Angola will plays its inaugural World Cup match against Portugal on June 11
in Cologne before heading to Hanover for a Group D match against Mexico on
June 16 and a face-off with Iran on June 21 in Leipzig.
