Iran football chiefs to face lawmakers’ grilling Tuesday

MNA – Iran’s Football Federation (IFF) President Mohammad Daadkan and national manager Branko Ivankovic will go to the Majlis (parliament) to answer questions about the 2006 World Cup preparation.
The IFF’s pre-World Cup programs, international friendlies, technical committee, and presence of Iranian fans in German stadiums are the main topics the two sides will discuss in Tuesday’s meeting.

The sports faction of Majlis plans to offer the federation its proposals after the session.

Iran has been drawn with Portugal, Mexico, and Angola in Group D.
