Five-star Iran smashes China at Asian futsal fight

MNA – Asian seven-time futsal champion Iran thrashed the Chinese side 5-0 in its opening match at the first Asian Indoor Games in Thailand Thursday.
Top scorer Vahid Shamsaii hit his hat-trick and Mohsen Zarei and Kazem Mohammadi found the net once each to help the Group A-bound Iran whitewash China.

The unrivaled Iran meets Macao Saturday.

Nine teams divided into three groups are competing in the Asian futsal tournament.
