Brazilian Ze Maria waved goodbye to the home fans ahead of a big money move this summer. The winger marked his last game with one of his trademark free kicks.

Just before the break Fiorentina's appalling season took another turn for the worse as Tarozzi was sent off.

There was a sense of deja-vu when the start of the second half was delayed by a freak thunderstorm. The Viola provided few problems for Perugia as they romp home to victory.
