Iran-Saudi friendly cancelled

IRIB - Iran national team's friendly against the Saudi side was cancelled due to air-pollution warnings in Malaysia.

Malaysian meterological organization has announced a surge in the levels of air pollutants which pushed the government to close schools.

The match was planned as a warm-up ahead of Iran's world cup qualifier against Japan on August 17th.

The match was scheduled for Thursday 17:15 Iran time and would have been planned to be broadcast live by IRIB2 and IRIB3.
