IRIB - Blue men will relinquish possession of
favourite Esteqlal, as the club's executives came to terms on parting a tiny
share with fans.
Esteqlal has planned to hand over 9 per cent of its stocks to fans, after
the clubs executives' agreement at an extraordinary meeting, also attended
by vice-president Mohsen Mehralizadeh.
The club's general director and the governing board have eyed to cede 51 per
cent of the share to the state while 40 per cent being handed to a team of
legal applicants.
The meeting was held to set up Esteqlal stocks co. under the club's cultural
institution's supervision.
If successful, the 51 per cent share controlled by the government will also
be given to the fans, the meeting decided.
