Tehran - Al Wasl's
Iranian forward Farhad Majidi will move to German soccer
club Borussia Monchengladbach on a six-month loan.
The German club's executives have chased Majidi after his
dramatic appearance in Al Wasl and his re-linking with
Iran's national football team, it was reported here
Monday.
According to the report, Borussia Monchengladbach is also
looking for a second forward.
No official response, however, has been given by the
club's football officials, but the lucrative offer has
been welcomed by the Iranian forward.
Majidi has signed a two-year contract with the United
Arab Emirates.
His success in the Arab D1 team brought him a worldwide
fame.
