Tehran - The National Football Teams
Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran Wednesday released the list of
22 players for a friendly against Panama in Azadi Stadium in western Tehran
Saturday.
Iran-Panama match will kick off at 04:30 p.m. (1300 GMT). ,br>
According to Iran's Football Federation, the summoned players are to gather
at Azadi Hotel, northwest of the capital, at 03:00 p.m. Friday.
No player from Persepolis, Saipa, Zob Ahan, and Pegah has been invited to
the national camp as the four teams have been scheduled to play in the 13th
week of the fourth Iran Pro League Sunday. Iran is getting ready for the
second-round 2006 World Cup qualifiers.
On Dec 8, Iran, Japan, Bahrain, and North Korea were placed in Group B while
South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Kuwait were drawn for Group A.
