IRIB - Three clubs have made concrete
offers to sign up Bayern Munich reserve striker Vahid Hashemian during the
winter break, a top Bayern official told the bi-weekly Kicker sports
magazine Thursday.
"There are three serious inquiries for him (Hashemian)," Bayern
vice-chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.
Hashemian's former club VFL Bochum is apparently the front-runner to re-sign
him, according to Rummenigge.
Hashemian was a fan favorite in Bochum during the 2003/4 season, scoring 16
goals in 32 matches.
The former pas forward who has also been linked to fellow Bundesliga club
Hertha Berlin, has failed to make an impact at Bayern Munich following his 2
million transfer from Bochum last summer.
Hashemian has yet to score a goal for Bayern and has only played in three of
Bayern's 13 Bundesliga games so far this season.
