PLDC - In a brief press conference a day after Iran's opening match against Thailand, some of the players were interview by the press. The Iranian national team's capital, Ali Daei told reporters: "Rahman Rezaei and Nossrati were the best players on the field in my opinion because by blocking the Thai's speedy wingers, allowed us to be patient and concentrate on going forward." Ali Daei also said: "Mehdi MahdaviKia and Arash Borhani also played well yesterday at the sides and I hope that all these players can continue to play strongly at their positions." Regarding Iran's next opponent, Ali Daei told reporters: "Oman is as dangerous as Japan if not more dangerous since they have a very good team that will come out against us to win and we will have a tough game against them." Ali Karimi also talked about the game and said: "We could have scored even more goals if it wasn't for the high humidity and the heat that really effected our game in the first half." Karimi also named Mahdavikia as the right choice for the player of the match and regarding Iran's next game he said: "Oman played a great game of football against Japan and if they had some luck along the way, they could have even won that match, and we know that playing against Oman will not be easy but we will come out of the field with three points." The next Iranian player interviewed by reporters was man of the match, Mehdi
Mahdavikia. Posted By: Armin A. |
