MNA – SAIPA and Shamushak celebrated their second consecutive win and qualification for the fourth Iran Pro League in Tabriz, East Azarbaijan province, Tuesday. 

Shamushak of northern Mazandaran province edged past first division San’at Naft 2-0 on the pitch of Takhti stadium.

Yuness Gerayeli converted a penalty in the 44th minute and Majid Nurmohammadi doubled the northerners’ scoring nine minutes into the second half.

Latif Jenami and Ali Bakhtiarizadeh of Naft received their marching orders from the referee Rahim Rahimi-Moqaddam.

Out of two games, Shamushak took perfect points as it beat Shahid Qandi of Yazd 2-0 Sunday.

In another match played later in Takhti stadium, SAIPA overcame Qandi 1-0 as Ebrahim Farsi headed home an Amir-Hossein Yussefi cross on 70 minutes.

SAIPA also rejoined the IPL teams on six points of two games.

The Tehrani side won its opening match against Naft of southern city Abadan 2-0 on June 6.

The fourth IPL has room for 16 teams -- two more than the previous edition.
