AFC - Sepahan finished a disappointing season with some style on Tuesday with a 5-1 away thrashing of Bargh in their final Iran Pro League match of the season. The 2002/03 champions were unable to defend their title as they dropped to sixth place in the table and they took their frustrations out on a Bargh side that managed to avoid relegation by just three points. Bargh took an early lead through Farid Abedi but goals by Leon Estepanian and Asghar Talebnaseb put the visitors ahead at half time. Rasoul Khatibi notched two goals in the second half and Mahmoud Karimi added another as the former champions romped to an emphatic victory. Sepahan's Esfahan neighbours Zob Ahan finished a point ahead of their rivals in fourth place with a 1-1 home draw against AbuMoslem. Mehdi Rajabzadeh put the home side ahead after 25 minutes but Iman Razaghirad levelled for the visitors just after the hour mark. Pas claimed the Iranian championship last week, hammering Esteghlal-Ahvaz 5-0 in their final game to finish two points ahead of Tehran rivals Esteghlal in second place. Iran Pro League - results
