Mehr News –  Iran’s representative in the Asian Champions League, Zob Ahan, grabbed a late equalizer to hold the visitor Qatar Sports Club to a 3-3 draw here Tuesday. 
Supported by home fans packing Fuladshahr stadium, The Isfahani side took the lead in the 16th minute when Ali Tahmasbi slotted home.

Tahmasbi whose opener in the fifth minute was ruled out for offside by the Indian referee threw the gauntlet for Qatar’s Argentinean striker Claudio Cannigia, hitting the post a Jalal Omidian cross with a header on 29 minutes.

Qatar was transformed after the restart, scoring three goals in 12 minutes.

Mashaal Mubarak secured the parity for the visitor two minutes into second half, celebrating his own and side’s second in the 49th minute.

Zob was stunned by former national striker of Argentine, who made it 3-0 after escaping the offside trap in the 59th minute.

Not to be outdone, the home team minimized the gap six minutes later by Amir Vaziri.

Hamid Azizi sent the spectators wild with applause eight minutes from time, heading home a well-flighted cross from Reza Azizi.

Zob leads Group A on five points and Qatar lies in the second spot, winning four points.
