PLDC - Sepahan earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Turkmenistan’s Ahal FC in their AFC Champions League Two 2025/26 Group C clash on Tuesday.
Despite dominating possession throughout, Moharram Navidkia’s men struggled to break down Ahal’s defence until the 82nd minute, when Kaveh Rezaei pounced on a rebound after Enzo Crivelli’s header was saved by goalkeeper Kakageldi Berdiyev.
The late strike secured Sepahan’s first win of the campaign and moved the Iranian side up the Group C standings.
