Argentina's futsal squad defeated the champio
of Asia, Iran, Tuesday in an international tournament
underway in Italy.
In its first match, the indoor football team of Iran was
beaten 5-3 by the representative of Argentina.
Top goalscorer of the Iranian side, Vahid Shamsaei,
netted twice and his teammate Sanei scored the third.
Head of Iran's futsal team, Sadeq Doroudgar, said that
his side played well against the powerful team of
Argentina particularly in the first half the ended in a 2-2
draw.
In another match of Group B played Tuesday, Russia
managed to overcome Czech 4-3.
Iran meets Czech Wednesday.
Iran, Argentina, Czech and Russia are in Group B.
In Group A, the futsal teams of Italy, Brazil, Slovenia
and
Belgium are fighting
