AFC - IRAN midfielder Darioush Yazdani has rejected an offer from Belgian club RC Mons to sign with United Arab Emirates club Al Sha'ab. The playmaker is now serving a 12-month contract at his new club with a view to another year’s extension should he excel among the stellar cast at the club. The former Sporting Charleroi player scored two and made four over the last Belgian season and will now join international compatriots Ali Karimi and Farhad Majidi in the UAE league. Al Sha'ab finished fifth in the recently concluded UAE season, scoring 39 goals and conceding 31 over 22 league games played. |
