Tehran Times - Iran national beach soccer team defeated Ukraine 6-3 at the 2018 Persian Beach Soccer Cup on Sunday.
The competition is being held from January 27 to 29 in Bushehr, south of Iran
Earlier in the day, Spain defeated 3-1.
Iran will play Spain on Monday in the final match, while Azerbaijan face Ukraine in the third-place match.
Marco Octavio’s team take part in the tournament with a mix of experienced and young players.
Iran won the title in the first edition which was held with the participation of Poland, Ukraine and Italy.
