Tehran Times - Esteghlal midfielder Server Djeparov has been suspended for one month for a deliberate stamp on Esteghlal Khuzestan’s player.
The Uzbek midfielder stamped on Esteghlal Khuzestan defender two weeks ago in the match the Iranian giants defeated their opponent 3-0.
Iran Football League Organization has fined the player over the violation.
The 35-year-old had already said he had not deliberately stamped on Esteghlal Khuzestan’s player.
